Dogs see flowers differently than humans …dogs don’t know when a flower is poisonous…you humans do know however… because you can read about potential threats…some of us dogs see flowers as just another something to eat…so please read and use this credible dog source when planting your garden…when walking your dog…paws up for you folks that realize the beauty of nature also has potential danger for us puppies…a big golden thanks for keeping us safe.
I used to have to be aware of this when we had sheep……just in case they got out and ate my stuff.

Yes they will! I found out the hard way one year that they loved tomato plants…..

My dad was a sheepherder and he said it was really horrible when the sheep got into the larkspur.

I could never grow castor beans for fear they would get out and eat them. Never knew larkspur was bad for them. But I am not even sure we grow larkspur here.

Dogs’ incredible sense of smell can also help keep them from eating certain plants, but yes, we need to be diligent.
