Here comes a truly golden moment on August 21 in the United States..a total solar eclipse. Now…depending where you will be standing that day during the eclipse…you are in for a memorable experience.
I’m a dog… so you might think that when the sun goes dark… because I don’t need to wear protective eye glasses… that I will be clueless and not respond to something celestial. Wrong! Consider that the animals, birds, bugs, snakes, certain plants, etc…could react to the unusual midday darkness.
So, let me suggest that while not only looking up and watching the solar eclipse…you pay attention to what’s happening in the natural world 30 minutes before, during the darkness…and 30 minutes after. Your observations could be of interest to you and others. For sure, you’ll always remember this event and how the world around you reacted.
Remember safety first…you gotta be wearing your solar eclipse glasses to look up into the sun…or perhaps you’ll view the phenomena through that cereal box apparatus that you made…whatever you do…try not to miss this…according to NASA you’ll have to wait until April 8, 2024, for another total solar eclipse over the United States.
I hope I don’t have to be driving for work!!! I don’t want to be tempted to look!!!! But I am DEFINITELY curious to see how the world reacts…..

Love those shade Brodie! So very cool. I think I am going to have to watch online as we, in the midwest are going to be having a rainy cloudy day!

That’s a great idea. Hoping the clouds stay away here.
