Hot summer days are just around the corner..so look out for “man’s best friend” and their paws.
“Pavement, asphalt, wood, metal, sand and car or truck surfaces can become very hot during the summer months. These materials absorb heat from the sun and can stay hot for hours even after the sun has gone down. Temperatures on these surfaces can exceed 145° F!”

Yes! I see people walking their dogs in the heat of the day on the black road and I cringe. Before I walked my dogs I always went out and put my hand on the road. If I could keep it there and it wasn’t warm then I would walk them.
You golden rock! We people need to think about what’s happening to our pets!
I totally agree! Everyone should be thinking of what is best for their pet. I surely always did. Thanks:)
