So much has happened and my level of confusion has risen to the top of the golden charts. Help me out.

That word “presumptive” keeps flying around. She’s the presumptive candidate for the D Party, but the Bern guy continues to stoke the flames. Then on the other side, the presumptive candidate can’t have a party, throw a party, make a party…so he’s not invited?…He said he’d go it alone. What?

And another thing…that word “oligarchy”… the fire burning guy brings that up a lot. And why? I thought “oligarchy” was one of those luxury designers fashion brands. ..you know worn only by the rich and famous…red carpet garb. If I’m right, then I guess the Bern wants everyone to have the same clothing opportunities…you know dress for success, dress up, dress like you mean it? Seems my golden bewilderment is unending.

The presumptive candidate…the tentative candidate…the speculative candidate…The superdelegates have spoken for the “D” party. What happened to letting the votes from the people decide? The Bern voters in California just might decide to stay home from their primary given the timing of this “super” situation. Oh my…What is happening? Let’s be fair.

I’m thinking that these superdelegates have been given out of control super action figure powers. They need to go. Consider a golden alternative for “super”….Each presidential candidate identifies with a certain coffee brand. During each primary in each state…with the purchase of said coffee…a point is collected. For folks that do not drink coffee, walk-ins will be taken for said coffee…with no purchase necessary to cast a point. Drink often, point often. …Finally, on the floor of each respective political convention, the coffee brand that received the most points gets to serve up the “Super Java” to all of the delegates. …the coffee of the people…coffee casting…serving up the joe… (definition of joe: an ordinary man.) Now that’s a super hot alternative to these super influential politicians…maybe I’ll go into the coffee business…

Making sense of the political rhetoric out there has spun me into complete confusion. Continually admitting that I remain out of my golden mind with this stuff is not what I want. However, honesty has always been a mantra for me. What is going on out there? Please read on.

The California primary is coming up. Seems a large amount of folks will cast the “against vote”. The polls say, and there is a strong poll following out there…that 42% of votes cast for “the trick card” are an against vote for the “woman card.” And vice-versa, so the “against vote” is stimulating the number of people who will turn out. Confusing….

I’m a golden retriever, OK?.. I have good people in my life that I like and trust…I play with other dogs that I feel safe with, so play is usually pleasant and friendly. These tip-top dogs are out there and I am so fortunate to know the good ones when I see them. It’s good and it’s safe.

Seems that California could use some good dogs.

Life can quickly change. SheShe has gone on a trip to Ireland and will be gone for 17 days. HeHe said that he and I are “holding down the fort.” Whatever that means. HeHe says this is no big deal and we’ll be just fine. I love this man, this alpha man, but I can’t help thinking that for the next 17 days, life as I know it is on hold.

SheShe left a list. It’s a long list of “To Do’s” and its living on the kitchen counter top. Before leaving, she read it out loud to both of us. I really appreciated that. My stuff was first on the list and written in great detail, down to my poop schedule. Seriously, she wrote that my “poop window “is anywhere from 6-10 minutes once out of the door and when my system is regular, I unload three times a day. I had no idea that she times my releases. Anyway, the other stuff that made her list was watering the plants, inside and out; emptying the dishwasher; emptying the kitchen trash (less it stink); vacuuming at least once a week (good luck with that one) and leaving the doors to the front load washer and dryer open when not in use. No worries on that because he never washes clothes.

SheShe uses organizational skills at home and in our daily lives with a how to “get her done” attitude, but she does not understand that this is simply a silly list for those of us remaining behind.

See, HeHe has already made his own decisions about what the “Brodie Drill” will be. I just feel it. The man does it to a different tuner…Is that how you say it? See, I am a creature of habit and I know that SheShe set my habits in place when I was a puppy. She takes me out first thing in the morning and then makes the coffee. She takes me to see my trainer and to the vet. She takes me to the local library and hardware stores so I can practice behaving while I am working on possibly becoming a therapy dog. She takes me on nature walks . She walks me through the neighborhood and we socialize (when I can listen.) She loads my food ball twice daily and lovingly wipes my mouth when I’m finished. She talks to me in silly and funny tones and often gives me her smiles. She puts drops in my ears, gives me pills when needed and grooms me daily. I am already missing her and I am not myself. We’ll be fine.

See, I love HeHe but he’s not the one who sets me into each day. He likes when I greet him and sit at his feet while he reads. He likes to take me outside with him while he does yard work and enjoys his beer. He’ll let me wipe my face on the furniture after I eat and he’s proud of me when I retrieve. He likes to take me in the car to run an errand. He takes me for 2 mile walks. He likes it when the three of us are a team. He told SheShe before she left that he was going to work from home as often as his job would permit, so I would not be lonely. What a guy. We’re going for a deeper bond.
I think they understand that I am going to feel different for 17 days. And I think each of us are going to deal with this in our own way. Oh my, I think HeHe just put the list in the drawer. Ha! Here comes our great adventure. Come on day 18.

What’s happening out there?

I’m a confused golden retriever…..when it’s over, it’s not over? suspending… then another suspension, sounds suspicious to me..it’s not over..$27.00 checks are still “berning” through the mail. …Finally no more pachyderms permitted under the big top…no more elephant tricks finally! Wanting peace for all elephants worldwide. …flipping Pennsylvania like a pancake soon???… (I love the great State of PA and flapjacks as well)… narcissistic policy disorder…Don’t know what that is but it sounds contagious. What is the White House Daily Briefing? Is that when reporters, correspondents and some select politicians gather in the Press Room and as soon as they are all assembled, windows are flung open so rafts of the hot air can escape? I truly don’t know. Dressing up like a panda in public places is dangerous…unless it’s Halloween…be safe out there people …. I’m confused. 1209 North Orange Street in Wilmington, Delaware is brimming over with 285,00 businesses and firms, all of which are under the same roof?! Are these penniless people who are seeking a shelter? How do these people co-exist with each other, living in such close quarters? I’m guessing that they all agree to jump through big gaps that are throughout this house and they always stay out of each others way. loophole..now what is that?.. A compound word? Somebody call a lawyer please… Garage Sales?… Is that when people get up early, especially during the summer months, get road coffee, then drive around looking for handmade signs and connecting with Tweets that advertise a garage for sale??? just the garage??? what about the house?……suspending and not conceding in the preliminary race for the presidency?…what ever happened to conceding…how about saying congratulations over the phone to the other candidates?..Can’t answer my question… then something is up…Pharmaceutical corporation liars still continuing with their pants on fire;…hug a dog, don’t hug a dog?..very interesting…pay attention and think on this because we are learning everyday…Coal Country, I love you West Virginia…stay away from those voter controller people…. The woman card?..playing the woman card?…is that like playing 52 pick-up with one of the queens missing?…Politicians continue playing this vacuous game. I’m confused….a new type of driver’s license that detects the sex of the driver….cards will be utilized to gain entrance into the appropriate public bathroom?….I know?!… I don’t think so because the chip might change? Do classes exist for politicians to learn how to “know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em…know when to run card tricks?…word of the day is “trick”…those political tricks with a whack-a-mole twist… keep cropping up…. The homeless deserve respect and need a safe space. Are synonyms something you eat? I’m confused…. I think I had some of them the other day but they all tasted the same. Big horse race coming up…bet on the gray even if there isn’t one racing…they usually win.
